Orientation and Mobility Instruction
Orientation and Mobility (O&M) instruction through Pursuing Innovation LLC empowers blind and visually impaired individuals to navigate their environments safely, confidently, and independently. Training includes spatial awareness, environmental analysis, travel techniques, and the effective use of mobility tools such as the long cane, with instruction customized to each individual's needs and settings. O&M services are available to school districts through contract and to individuals and rehabilitation agencies for the blind, supporting independence at school, work, and in the community.
Assistive Technology Instruction
Pursuing Innovation LLC provides individualized assistive technology instruction to support blind and visually impaired individuals in accessing education, employment, and daily life more independently. Instruction focuses on the practical use of accessible tools such as screen readers, magnification software, mobile devices, and other adaptive technologies tailored to each learner's goals and environment. Services are available through contract with school districts, as well as to individuals and rehabilitation agencies for the blind, ensuring learners receive hands-on, relevant training that builds confidence, efficiency, and long-term independence.
